For 100 years, Father Ryan High School has been Nashville’s trusted
coeducational, college preparatory high school centered in Catholic values, where students are known, loved, and inspired. We combine academic excellence and rigor with customized support to embrace every student’s full potential—spiritually, academically, and personally—to challenge and support students of all abilities. We are Nashville’s only private high school to offer four personalized academic learning paths.

As Tennessee's flagship Diocesan school, faith and Catholic values are at the center of all we do for students. All faiths are welcome and integral to our proud history of ensuring that every student belongs. In 1954, Father Ryan was the first high school in Tennessee to integrate, and we honor this legacy through our promise of “You Will Be Known. You Will Be Loved.®”
