Franklin Classical School (FCS) is a private, K–12 classical Christian school located in Franklin, Tennessee. Since 1992, our school has partnered with Christian families to provide a college-preparatory education rooted in biblical truth while emphasizing academic excellence, critical thinking, and strong character development. FCS combines the time-tested principles of classical education with a distinctly Christian worldview, preparing students to become thoughtful leaders who serve their communities with wisdom and integrity. We offer a well-rounded educational experience through rigorous academics, Bible instruction, fine arts, humanities, athletics, and leadership opportunities.
Our school is defined by our four distinctive traits: Christian, Classical, Collaborative, and Connected. We offer uniquely flexible schedules and intentionally limit student technology use throughout their educational journey in today's distracting digital age. Our college preparatory curriculum allows students to graduate with all necessary state credits, yet the school is structured so that parents may choose to homeschool their children for select subjects. Our prayer is that our graduates would know and serve the Lord Jesus Christ - transforming families, institutions, and nations for the glory of God. |

Christian beliefs and Christian values are integrated into every aspect of a student’s education at FCS. As a covenantal community made up of Christian educators and Christian families, we strive to point students to the truths of the Bible in both our curriculum and our daily interactions. CLASSICAL Unlike many traditional schools, Franklin Classical School follows the classical model of education through the Trivium—Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric stages—helping students build a strong academic foundation before advancing into higher-level reasoning and persuasive communication. Small class sizes and a low student-to-teacher ratio allow educators to provide individualized attention while fostering meaningful relationships with every student. By engaging with Scripture, history, and the great works of Western civilization, students become lifelong learners who think deeply, speak eloquently, and live faithfully. COLLABORATIVE At Franklin Classical School, we believe that parents are biblically responsible for their child’s education and family engagement is central to our culture. Walking the halls of FCS, you will almost always see multiple parents serving our teachers, our students, and our school. In joining the FCS community, every parent is invited to bring their unique talents and gifts to support our work.
