Goodpasture Christian School is the largest private school north of Nashville. Starting with our Great Beginnings childcare at 12 months up to High school your child will thrive on a Christ-centered campus.
Here is a look at all that we offer for your child:
Our Great Beginnings program serves children 12 months through approximately 36 months of age. Our curriculum provides hands-on experiences, real-life adventures, and scientific discovery as the toddlers explore their world through play in the classroom. Our teachers provide excellent care for your toddler in a loving and nurturing environment while parents have the ability to check on their toddler through our in-room cameras and receive daily updates on their child through our Tadpole program.

Hands-on learning through a play-based curriculum year-round
Nurturing teachers who inspire growth and development in the early years
Our Preschool program serves children ages 3 to 4 years old. Our Preschool curriculum has been teacher-developed to meet the needs of each child and to meet state standards. Our caring teachers promote self-esteem and self-expression by using classroom centers to provide our preschoolers with many opportunities for social and academic growth.
Goodpasture Christian School Kindergarten is composed of classrooms housed in our modern facility designed as a little red schoolhouse. Our curriculum includes language arts, math, science, and social studies. Technology is incorporated into both the reading and math curriculum through the use of the iPads and the iMac computers. Kindergartners also receive a daily Bible lesson and devotional to aid them in their social and spiritual growth.
GRADES 1 - 5
Our elementary school provides a strong academic program in a caring, Christian environment. Our faculty and staff work daily to provide a variety of activities to meet individual needs and make the learning environment challenging, exciting, and successful. Technology is incorporated into all subjects through the use of iPads and iMac computers. All faculty, 1st through 5th grades, are certified in their area of instruction. In addition to regular classroom teachers, all students work with certified music, physical education, art, library, and technology instructors, along with STEM lab, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish instructors
When students enter 6th grade, they are children – physically, emotionally, and intellectually. The transition from elementary school to middle school is made easy by our knowledgeable, caring faculty. Class field trips during the year allow students to explore subject matter in greater depth while providing the opportunity for social growth. Goodpasture is also committed to preparing our students for the future by incorporating technology into the curriculum. Each classroom in the 6th grade has iPads available for classroom use. In order for students to have a well-rounded experience, a variety of activities are offered for our 6th grade students, including sports, student council, and theater opportunities as well as chorus and band for 6th graders.
GRADES 7 & 8
When students enter the 7th and 8th grades, they are moving into young adulthood. We are dedicated to providing an environment that is conducive to spiritual, academic, and emotional maturation. Goodpasture Christian School takes great pride in offering a challenging curriculum. Our program emphasizes students taking responsibility for their work and actions as the school seeks to develop young adults who are personally accountable and responsible citizens in their communities as well as learners prepared for their educational future. To help students reach their full potential, Goodpasture offers a variety of activities to 7th and 8th-grade students. Courses in theater, band, and chorus are offered through our fine arts department, while extracurricular opportunities include football, soccer, cheerleading, volleyball, baseball, basketball, and softball.
Goodpasture High School serves students in grades 9 - 12. Students will receive an education that promotes spirituality, academics, and extracurricular activities. A student's four years of high school will be interwoven with a spiritual fabric that is unmatched. College scholarships equaled over $4.8 million last year (averaging more than $62,000 per student) and 344 hours of college credit was earned by students!
