At Overbrook Catholic School, wonder meets wisdom, and children grow into curious learners, compassionate friends, and virtuous leaders. An independent, co-educational Catholic school for preschool-3 through sixth-grade, OCS is rooted in the Dominican tradition, where eternal Truth, elevated thinking, and enduring joy guide every aspect of learning.

Our preschool program offers two distinct tracks—multi-age Montessori classrooms and single-age traditional classrooms—ensuring every child begins their education in an environment best suited to their growth. From these earliest years through sixth grade, hands-on learning is the hallmark of an Overbrook Catholic education.

Students investigate science in our state-of-the-art STEM lab and Beyond the Brook Farm. From caring for sheep, chickens, rabbits, and our farm cat, to cultivating raised garden beds and hydroponic tower systems, children discover how ecosystems function and how God calls us to be caretakers of His creation. Outside of their academic pursuits, students are encouraged to develop skills and talents through art, music, forensics, and athletics.

Leadership at Overbrook Catholic is lived through service. Students grow in responsibility and confidence as they serve at Mass, lead prayer, care for the school community, and act as role models for younger classmates.  Faith formation is further deepened through Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, where children encounter Scripture and the Liturgy in a tangible, age-appropriate way, nurturing a personal relationship with Christ.

Named a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, Overbrook Catholic is home to dedicated faculty who guide students to excel in rigorous academics, including STEM, the SOAR gifted program, and nationally recognized math, reading, and writing instruction. OCS students consistently perform at levels above the national norm.

Since 1936, Overbrook Catholic has prepared students not only for the next steps in their academic journeys, but for a lifetime of integrity, curiosity, and faith. Here, children flourish in a joyful community, discovering that true excellence is more than achievement—it is a way of life.
