Your child will soar at Saint Ann School, where students are rooted in Spirituality, Academics and Service.
Spirituality. Saint Ann School is a community permeated with the love of Christ. We are a family in which each person’s individuality is celebrated and children learn to appreciate diversity and treat each other with dignity. Students attend mass weekly and are encouraged to grow in knowledge and love of God. Our Catholic faith is the foundation upon which morals and values are taught throughout the school. Academics. Hallmark to the Saint Ann School experience is small class sizes. We currently serve 191 students in PreK3 - 8th grade. We offer one class per grade level, and our student:teacher ratio is 16:1. In this intimate environment, our expert educators are able to dynamically teach each student. Evidence of our "forward looking curriculum" can be seen in our extensive use of cutting-edge technology such as our 1:1 laptop program in grades 2-8, an expanded hands-on science curriculum, and our Prek-8th grade foreign language program, which gives students a distinct advantage when transitioning to high school. Saint Ann School is committed to providing excellent academics for all. For example, our Hand in Hand Program provides a quality Catholic education for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, giving all children the opportunity to learn in a Christ-centered, academic setting. Service. All students, pre-K through 8th grade, participate in service-learning projects during the school year. These projects promote leadership and responsibility and put faith in action as students realize the importance of loving God and others by serving those in need. As the oldest Catholic school in Nashville, TN, Saint Ann School proudly continues our 100-year legacy in radiating Christ and providing a home for generations. We would love to introduce you to our Saint Ann family! |
