Welcome to Trinitas Classical Academy, where we nurture young hearts and minds through a vibrant, Christ-centered education rooted in the classical tradition. Our programs—Preschool, Lower School, and Upper School—are thoughtfully designed to inspire three key families: those seeking a faith-based foundation, those valuing academic excellence, and those desiring a nurturing environment for holistic growth. With a blend of classical Christian and Montessori methods, we meet students where they are, fostering spiritual, emotional, and intellectual development in an engaging and accessible way.
Preschool: Sparking Curiosity and Joy For our youngest learners (ages 3–5), Trinitas offers a dynamic Preschool/PreK program that blends sensory-rich Montessori activities with classical Christian principles. We create a warm, inviting space where children explore through hands-on learning, preparing them for kindergarten with confidence. From mastering early literacy to developing social skills, our curriculum ignites curiosity and builds a strong foundation for future academic success, all while nurturing their faith. Lower School: Building a Strong Foundation Our Lower School (K–6), known as the grammar stage, lays the groundwork for lifelong learning. For families prioritizing academic excellence, we use proven resources like Saxon Math, Abeka Science, and Saxon Phonics and Spelling (K–2) to teach foundational skills in math, reading, and grammar. In grades 3–6, students dive deeper with Well-Ordered Language Grammar and Writing and Rhetoric, while Latina Christiana introduces Latin, enhancing linguistic precision. Through chants, games, and repetition, younger students (K–2) master phonics and math facts, while older students (3–6) tackle thought-provoking discussions and independent projects, preparing them for the logic stage. This approach resonates with parents who value both structure and creativity, ensuring their children thrive academically and spiritually. Upper School: Cultivating Wisdom and Eloquence In the Upper School (7–12), we guide students through the Logic (7–9) and Rhetoric (10–12) stages, appealing to families who want their teens equipped for critical thinking and leadership. The logic stage harnesses students’ natural inquisitiveness through debates, skits, and discussions, using resources like Veritas Press History and the Omnibus curriculum, which explores timeless works like Augustine’s Confessions and Beowulf. Students learn to connect ideas across subjects, grounding their reasoning in biblical truth. In the rhetoric stage, they refine their ability to articulate arguments with wisdom and grace, mastering persuasive writing and oral presentations. This prepares them to navigate complex ideas and engage the world with conviction, appealing to parents who seek a transformative education. Why Trinitas? At Trinitas, we’re more than a school—we’re a community where faith shapes learning, and every student is known and valued. Our classical approach, enriched with resources like Lingua Latina and the Great Books, fosters intellectual depth while remaining approachable for all. Whether you’re a parent seeking a nurturing preschool, a rigorous academic path, or a program that builds godly character, Trinitas Classical Academy offers a vibrant vision for your child’s future. Join us to see how we inspire students to think God’s thoughts and live skillfully for His glory. |
